Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (45-minute break)
Our client based in Alton is recruiting for a
7.5T Driver to join their team on a
12-week temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
7.5T Driver looking for a long-term position with a well-established logistics company.
As part of this
7.5T Driver vacancy, you will be making deliveries to new development sites within a 250-mile radius of Alton using a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle, completing up to 10 deliveries per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed lorry for local and regional deliveries.
- Complete up to 10 deliveries per day to new development sites.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Secure loads correctly using ratchet straps.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Requirements:
- Previous 7.5T driving experience is essential.
- Experience using ratchet straps is essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Valid UK driving licence required.
- Valid Driver CPC, tacho and digi card.
- Good geographical knowledge.
