Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established manufacturer within the print and packaging industry, is looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join their busy production team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is looking to secure long-term employment with a successful local business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating printing and window patching machinery.
- Setting up and preparing machines for production runs.
- Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Working to production schedules and customer specifications.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within print, packaging, production, or converting environments would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional Saturdays when required to support business demands.
