Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in
West Bromwich for a
Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for a varied role, with an even split between warehouse duties and forklift work.
Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate:
£13.25 per hour
Start Date:
Monday 3rd August 2026
Week-by-week ongoing booking
The Role:
This position is approximately 50% warehouse work and 50% Counterbalance FLT driving.
Duties include:
Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT and manually where required.
Picking and moving stock both manually and with the FLT.
General warehouse duties.
Supporting the warehouse team with any additional tasks as requested by the manager.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
Previous warehouse experience.
Strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable carrying out physical/manual handling duties.
