Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime: Available weekdays and weekends
We are currently recruiting for experienced
Riggers to join a busy site in Middlesbrough (TS6). This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates with experience in lifting operations to secure ongoing work with regular overtime available.
Pay Rates
Standard Hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm):
£14.45 per hour
Weekday Overtime (Monday-Friday, after 3:30pm):
£17.48 per hour
Saturday (7:00am - 12:00pm):
£17.48 per hour
Saturday Overtime (after 12:00pm) &
All Day Sunday:
£20.67 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Slinging and rigging loads in accordance with lift plans and site procedures
- Working closely with crane operators and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations
- Carrying out pre-use checks on lifting equipment and reporting any defects
- Following all site health and safety regulations
- Assisting with general site duties when required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in lifting operations within construction, industrial, or civil engineering environments
- Good understanding of safe rigging practices and lifting procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
Valid CPCS or NPORS, or similar Slinger/Rigger certification
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Additional lifting or rigging qualifications
- Experience working on large infrastructure, industrial, or heavy civils projects
