Summary
The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional
Day Shift Van Drivers
(NOT parcels!) to work from their Middlesbrough depot.
*There are Ad-Hoc as well as on-going positions available*
The role:
Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
Use of a delivery App (training given)
Some heavy lifting
The work is multi-drop of around 10 - 20 deliveries per day across the country
Deliveries to business and domestic customers
The candidate:
"B" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
Minimum of 6 months driving experience
Experience driving a long wheelbase van
Excellent customer service skills
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
06.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependant)
Pay Rates:
£14.00 per hour (Plus Holiday Accrual) Monday to Friday
£21.00 per hour (Plus Holiday Accrual) Saturday
£28.00 per hour (Plus Holiday Pay) Sunday / Bank Holiday
