Summary

HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers - Temp to Perm

Milton Keynes (UK-wide work required)

£16.00 per hour | Night out at £26.20 + £5.00 Meal allowance Tax Free

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

Managing the delivery process from site to customer with manual pump truck or opening curtain side trucks

Some manual handling involved

Ensuring your load is safe and secure

Completion of delivery paperwork

Minimum of 2 year experience

Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

Minimum 55 hours per week

Minimum 10-12 hour shifts

Mix of day and night shift including up to 4 nights out per week

Monday to Friday

Pay:

£16.00 per hour

Night-out allowance paid when working away at £26.20 + £5.00 Meal allowance Tax Free

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

In-date CPC and Digi card

Willingness to work nights and away from home

Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
