Summary

Assembly Operative - Perry Barr (B42) | Long-Term Work | Progression to Supervisor

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break daily)

Paid hours: 40 hours per week

We're recruiting an

Assembly Operative for a long-term position based in

Perry Barr (B42). You'll be joining a well-established manufacturer and supplier of

rubber components, primarily supporting the

automotive industry (and other sectors).

This role offers

career progression, with the opportunity to move into a

Supervisor position for the right person.

Training will also be provided on a wire cutting machine and die cast machine.

Key duties

Working from

engineering drawings to measure and cut cables to specified lengths

Assembling

small components accurately and consistently

Packing finished products ready for

despatch

Supporting production and quality standards on site

About you

Background in a

manufacturing/engineering environment (essential)

Able to work from

engineering drawings and follow specifications

Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

Reliable, hands-on and keen to learn new machinery and processes

Ambition to develop and take on more responsibility over time
