We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised

Legal Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our client's busy and supportive law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing role while providing administrative support to a busy legal team. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
  • Managing appointments and meeting room bookings.
  • Opening and maintaining client files.
  • Completing client onboarding and identity verification checks.
  • Preparing routine legal correspondence and documents.
  • Providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners.
  • Liaising with clients and third parties.
  • Assisting with general office administration as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or legal support role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A professional, proactive and reliable approach.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent client care.

Previous experience within a legal environment would be advantageous.
