Summary

Titan Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Process Operator to join our well-established client, a leading drinks manufacturer based in Shepton Mallet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the process team, including the preparation, blending and transfer of ingredients used in the production of high-quality beverages.

Working Hours:

• 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern

• Early: 06:00am – 6:00pm

• Late: 06:00pm – 6:00am

Salary:

• £29,354 – £34,850 per year

• Full-time, Permanent Position

Responsibilities:

Weigh road tankers and complete loading and offloading operations.

Weigh and prepare ingredients accurately.

Dissolve granular sugars including fructose and sucrose.

Blend beverage ingredients including ginger beer bases, citric acid and malic acid.

Filter, dilute and carbonate products.

Carry out CIP (Clean-in-Place) of tanks and associated process equipment.

Transfer liquid beverages to filling lines while monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs).

Maintain accurate production records and follow company quality protocols.

Maintain GMP standards and a clean-as-you-go approach.

Monitor and maintain correct ingredient stock rotation.

Carry out cleaning duties as required.

Handle chemicals safely in accordance with COSHH requirements and use the correct PPE at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or process environment, preferably within food or beverage production.

Good IT and computer skills.

Comfortable working at height.

Strong attention to detail.

Proactive, reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Forklift licence is advantageous, although full training will be provided.

Good understanding of health, safety and quality procedures.
