Summary
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and patient Personal Assistant to support a client living in the Wigan area.
The client has cervical spondylosis affecting the neck and back, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia, which have a significant impact on daily living. The successful applicant will provide practical support to help the client maintain their independence at home and within the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out general household domestic tasks, including cleaning, dusting, and laundry.
• Assist the client with grocery shopping and carrying shopping.
• Provide occasional support with preparing light meals.
• Support the client to access the local community, including shopping trips.
• Encourage and promote the client's independence while providing safe, respectful, and person-centred support.
