Summary
Clean and maintain allocated areas of the school on a daily basis.
Ensure classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas are kept clean and presentable.
Thoroughly clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, cubicles and floors.
Clean and maintain soap dispensers, hand dryers and exposed pipework.
Hoover, sweep and mop floors using appropriate cleaning methods.
Clean skirting boards, window sills, shelves, desks and other hard surfaces.
Clean and sanitise staff rooms, including sinks, work surfaces and furnishings.
Clean and sanitise sports areas, showers and changing rooms.
Empty waste bins throughout the school and dispose of waste correctly.
Use cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryer machines, safely and effectively.
Follow cleaning schedules, instructions and required hygiene standards.
Follow health and safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
Report any hazards, damage, maintenance issues or cleaning supply shortages.
Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the school.
