About the Role

As a

Quarriers Academy Facilitator, you will design, develop and deliver a range of learning and development activities that support our organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and workforce development goals.

While your contractual base will be

Quarriers Village, the majority of training delivery takes place from our

Head Office in Govan and

Inverclyde Office. However, as Quarriers delivers services across Scotland, flexibility is essential and you will be required to travel to service locations to meet training needs which may require overnight stays from time to time.

This is a

part time, permanent position working 30 hours per week (FTE35) and a role which offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the development of our workforce.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual learning programmes.
  • Facilitate mandatory, regulatory and practice development training.
  • Support the review, development and continuous improvement of learning materials.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and use feedback to enhance delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Quarriers to identify and respond to learning needs.
  • Support the delivery of the Quarriers Academy Learning and Development Strategy.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, managers and external partners.

  • Skills working within a health, social care, third sector or learning and development environment.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of learners.
  • Strong IT and digital learning skills.
  • A collaborative and professional approach to relationship building.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing organisational priorities.
  • A genuine commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.

Essential Requirements

✅ Full UK driving licence

✅ Access to your own vehicle

✅ Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Scotland

✅ Flexibility to undertake occasional overnight stays where required to meet organisational training needs
