Summary
We are looking for a caring and patient 1-to-1 SEN Support Worker to provide dedicated support to a 3-year-old child with developmental delays, particularly in communication, language, and social/emotional development.
The successful candidate will work closely with the child throughout the day, modelling play, supporting learning and engagement, encouraging communication, and helping the child participate confidently in nursery activities.
The role will also involve supporting the child during mealtimes, including sensory needs around food, and helping manage behaviour through calm and appropriate redirection.
Salary: Approximately £13.00 per hour
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract: Temporary for 1 term, with potential for extension
