We are recruiting for a highly motivated and dynamic Local Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in Chelmsford, Essex. The role of the Local Business Development Manager offers a chance to develop and expand a portfolio of local clients, contributing directly to the growth of the business.

Duties of the Business Development Manager:

- Developing and growing a portfolio of local business customers

- Prospecting for new business opportunities and generating leads

- Building strong relationships with local clients to encourage repeat business

- Identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions

- Achieving sales targets and contributing to overall company growth

- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to prospect and open new accounts

- Results-driven with a proactive approach to sales

- Knowledge of the local business landscape in Chelmsford and Essex

- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a desire to succeed
