Summary

A Vacancy at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative, forward thinking nurse who possess' the leadership qualities to manage and support our busy haematology day unit. You will provide expert clinical knowledge and judgment for our staff and patients.

You will be expected to co-ordinate the unit safely and effectively and be willing to have a "hands on" approach in providing high quality care, whilst being visible and approachable on the unit at all times.

This is a permanent position and you will be supported by the unit manager and clinical matron.

To assist in the safe co-ordination of the Haematology Day Unit

To be a senior chemotherapy nurse, supporting junior members of the team.

To assist with managerial duties

To supervise and assess students and junior band 5 nurses.

2. That in all issues, the patient/patients requirements are met and all staff contribute fully to achieving the Trust's corporate goals and objective
