Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our paediatric team within the Children's Unit. This is to cover a period of maternity leave. Experience of working with children and families is required and the ideal candidate will be flexible, have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a busy environment.
Applicants who do not meet the full criteria for appointment at Band 3 may be appointed at Band 2 and supported through a structured development programme including completion of required competencies and qualifications with progression to Band 3 subject to evidence of competence and service need.

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will support the nursing team to deliver a high standard of care whilst putting the child and family at the centre of everything you do. You will be a part of an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking team. A flexible approach, good sense of humour and the ability to prioritise workloads is a must.
Full training will be given to the successful candidate. Full and part time positions are available. All posts will be on internal rotation to days and nights.
