Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Urgent Emergency Care Division for a Band 2/3 Health Care Assistant. The job is based in the Medical Short Stay Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon which provides a huge wealth of opportunity to learn new skills.

Applicants who do not meet the full criteria for appointment at Band 3 may be appointed at Band 2 and supported through a structured development programme including completion of required competencies and qualifications with progression to Band 3 subject to evidence of competence and service need.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be passionate about improving the life of our patients while demonstrating a flexible approach and excellent communication skills. You will show a respectful, caring, and compassionate attitude in your daily duties.
You will assist the qualified nursing staff in providing a high-standard nursing care within the Medical Short Stay Unit. You will demonstrate greatcommunication skills and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
All the roles are permanent and offered on a full-time. Flexible working opportunities would be considered where possible.
When your tasks prove to be challenging, our Wellbeing team will be there to support you as well as our in-house physiotherapy services.
