Hygiene Operative – Permanent Night Shift
Location: Bridlington, East Yorkshire (YO15)

We are recruiting reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operatives to join a well-established food production facility in Bridlington.

Shift Pattern
Permanent Night Shift (Fixed, Non-Rotating)
⦠Monday to Friday
⦠10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
⦠36.25 paid hours per week
⦠Two breaks totalling 45 minutes
Pay Rates
⦠£12.77 per hour basic rate
⦠£12.00 per shift night allowance when the full shift is completed
⦠Equivalent to £14.69 per hour
The Role
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production facility.
Key duties include:
⦠Deep cleaning production machinery and equipment
⦠Cleaning floors, walls, and production areas
⦠Safely using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
⦠Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
⦠Completing hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately
⦠Reporting faults, hazards, or maintenance concerns
⦠Supporting the team to maintain audit-ready standards
Requirements
⦠Previous hygiene, cleaning, or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
⦠Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety practices
⦠Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and prolonged periods of standing
⦠Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
⦠Willingness to learn and undertake training
⦠Knowledge of food manufacturing environments would be advantageous
