Our client, a leading provider of specialist education services in the Barnsley area, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time SEND Tutor to join their dedicated team. - Provide individualised, one-on-one tutoring to students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the wider educational team to develop and implement personalised learning plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEND education
- Relevant teaching or tutoring qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Demonstrated success in delivering tailored, engaging, and effective learning support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, patience, and a deep commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of SEND students
