Quickly and we’re constantly looking for ways to make things better, always putting our residents and people at the heart of what we do.We have big ambitions and are looking for superstars to join us.Within the role of a Day Care Assistant, you will contribute to the effective and efficient function of the day centre, to the highest standards, by providing a day care service which meets with the physical, social, emotional recreational and therapeutic needs of older people.You will assist in meeting the needs of the service users through the provision of personal care, promotion of dependence and working in conjunction with the service users.To qualify for the role, you will have:Experience of working with vulnerable peopleExperience of working with people with various support needs Experience of working constructively as part of a teamGCSE or equivalent standard in English and MathsNVQ Level 2 accreditation or willingness to learn Knowledge of issues that affect older peopleKnowledge of issues related to Health & Safety at work in service delivery  Knowledge of legislation surrounding care provision and older peoples’ issues (desirable)The benefitsAt Housing 21 we’re proud to be bucking the trend as a care provider by actively recognising the importance of our customer-facing employees and rewarding them accordingly.
