At Ferndene Care Home, we’re looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our supportive team as a Care Assistant.
Ferndene, based in Gainsborough, provides care and nursing support for older adults, including people living with dementia. If you care about people and want a rewarding opportunity within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our residents’ daily lives by:
• Providing person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs and preferences
• Supporting residents with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, and mobility
• Providing support during mealtimes
• Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health, wellbeing, or behaviour
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and overall wellbeing
• Working collaboratively as part of a caring, supportive, and dedicated team
Position Details
• Full-time, 2 permanent positions available
• Shift times: 07:45-20:00
• Working pattern: rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays
• Location: Gainsborough (Please consider your travel arrangements, including weekends, before applying.)
Pay & Benefits
• £12.80 per hour
• 5.6 weeks annual leave
