🌟 Personal Assistant Required – Supporting a Young Boy🌟📍 Location: Morpeth Area

💷 Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour

⏰ Hours: 8 hours per week (School Holidays – flexible across 7 days)

💙 About the Role

We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support a lovely 5-year-old boy with Autism and a learning disability.

He is non-verbal and communicates using symbols and pictures 🗣️🖼️. At times, he can experience frustration, anxiety, and difficulties with concentration, so patience and understanding are essential.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

✅ Support with personal care 🛁

✅ Assist with social and leisure activities 🎨⚽

✅ Help with meal preparation 🍽️

✅ Provide constant supervision to ensure safety 🚸

⚠️ The child has no danger awareness, so close supervision is always required.

🌈 Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✔️ Experience or understanding of Autism 🧠

✔️ Knowledge of challenging behaviour ✅

✔️ A calm, patient, and nurturing approach 💙

✔️ Awareness of safeguarding 🛡️

📅 Working Pattern

Flexible support during school holidays:

🗓️ Monday–Saturday: Morning & Afternoon availability

🗓️ Sunday: Morning only

(No split shifts)
