Summary

We are currently recruiting for the position of Night Shift HGV Technician on behalf of a leading UK automotive dealer group. Our client requires a skilled and experienced Night Shift HGV Technician to join their state-of-the-art commercial vehicle dealership located in Andover, Hampshire. - Salary between £18.50 and £21.50 per hour, dependent on experience

Duties of a Night Shift HGV Technician:

- Conducting servicing and maintenance of various HGVs across the client's fleet

- Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults and executing repairs

- Performing warranty-approved work following brand specifications

- Carrying out Department of Transport (MOT) testing where qualified

- Completing electronic job cards and write-ups via franchise platforms

- Conducting electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)

- Providing support and guidance to Apprentice Technicians as required

Requirements of a Night Shift HGV Technician:

- Qualification to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Several years of relevant experience beyond qualification preferred

- Strong commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Capable of producing accurate work in a busy workshop setting

- Motivation to meet and exceed team targets
