Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly mainstream Primary School in Leeds, looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive, and staff are valued for the positive impact they make every day.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant for day to day or long-term cover. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences, promote positive behaviour and help children reach their full potential.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children in a UK Primary School
• Confidence supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
