Summary
Salaried Doctor 4-6 sessions We are seeking enthusiastic and caring GPs with excellent clinical and communication skills to work with our friendly multi-disciplinary team and to contribute to further development of services for our patients. We are offering a competitive package. Sessions to be over three non-consecutive days and include 2 PM surgeries Sessional rate £11,800-13,500 per session per annum depending on experience. Salary subject to experience. We are dedicated to delivering high quality care to a diverse urban population We make special efforts to provide continuity of care with our multidisciplinary team including Doctors, Physicians Assistants and a Medicine management team - clinical pharmacist and pharmacy technician - Practice nurses and HCAs as well as a supportive operational and administrative team, on which we believe patient-centred care depends on. We offer two weeks pro rata private study leave, and two dedicated sessions for appraisal - one for appraisal, one for appraisal preparation. We offer double-length appointments for patients requiring translation. The annual NHS pay award is passed on in full, the current award will be applied at the end of your 6-month probationary period. We care about our staff and offer mentoring and regular team meetings Salaried GPs rotate participation in a dedicated MDT meeting, held in protected time. We are an established training practice, value education and hold regular medical student placements. Innovative management of many results and correspondence keeps administrative burden for clinicians to a minimum. We want to support quality improvement, clinical leadership and your special interests and offer protected additional time for Quality Improvement Initiatives for the Practice. Strong emphasis on continuity of care, facilitated by our usual doctor system in which each GP has a list of patients - including routine care, correspondence and prescribing. BMA contract and paid medical defence subscriptions. Informal visits to the practice are welcome. Clinics will be a mix of 14 telephone and/or face to face consultations.
