We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of our valued client in Wellingborough.Job Description:As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely across different locations. You will be required to exhibit a high level of professionalism, ensuring that all industry regulations are adhered to while delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate and drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle, efficiently delivering goods to designated locations.- Strictly follow all road safety regulations and industry best practices.- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying potential defects and reporting them promptly.- Plan routes effectively, considering traffic and delivery schedules.- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring prompt delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance requirements.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC and Digi Tacho cards.- Proven experience as a Tramper Driver, ideally within a similar industry.- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.- Strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries effectively.- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.- Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends when required.Pay Rate: £16.00How to Apply:To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk.
