About the Role 

 

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Unit Officer to join our Strategic Engagement & Operations team to support our work across the UK FPS sector. 

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality business intelligence, stakeholder insight and engagement data to enable informed decision-making across Innovation and Growth. Working closely with the Head of Business Intelligence, the role contributes to the development of strategic insight products, stakeholder intelligence and evaluation activity that support organisational priorities, enhance strategic engagement, and demonstrate the impact of departmental activity. 

 

You’ll be responsible for: 

 

-

Leading or supporting the synthesis of complex and diverse data sources  

-

Developing compelling, evidence based narratives that move beyond raw data to explain “what this means” for the organisation’s strategic priorities  

-

Ensuring that data on the system is kept clean, accurate, and compliant with legal requirements  

-

Supporting the assessment and inclusion into SEEMs of new audiences, with particular attention to GDPR regulations  

 

About You 

 

We’re looking for someone with: 

 

-

Extensive experience and knowledge of the development and management of strategic relationships in the financial and professional services industry and / or Government and trade associations  

-

Proven record of understanding policy issues in relevant priority areas. 

-

Extensive experience of leading on the development and implementation of relationship management strategies  

-

Extensive experience of managing the development of business programme promotion through events, marketing, public affairs, press and PR. 

-

The ability to influence and collaborate in complex policy and organisational environments. 

-

Degree‑level education (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
