Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced
MOT Tester to join a well-established, reputable independent garage in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and professional team where quality workmanship and excellent customer service are at the heart of everything they do.
Whether you're an experienced MOT Tester or an MOT Tester with additional vehicle servicing and repair skills, our client is keen to hear from motivated individuals looking for a long-term career.
Hours
• Monday to Friday:
7:30am - 4:00pm
•
1-2 Saturdays per month, depending on business requirements and busy periods.
Salary
•
£30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and skill set.
The Role
As an MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Accurately identifying and recording any defects or advisory items.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing all required documentation.
• Liaising with colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned to customers promptly.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
• Supporting the workshop with servicing, repairs and general vehicle maintenance where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will have:
• A valid MOT Tester qualification.
• Previous experience working within a busy garage or workshop.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
