Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others.
You’ll be working
full time
40 hours a week (over
7 days - working 5 days a week, working one
in 4/5 weekends),
at Cygnet Appletree, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.
Cygnet Appletree, near Durham, is a mental health hospital for women that includes Pippin Ward, a specialist PICU service and Bramley Ward, a personality disorder Intensive support service for women
with complex mental health needs. .
Our person-centred service has been designed with wellness in mind, providing a safe and comfortable environment that promotes efficient rehabilitation and recovery. We are dedicated to understand, stabilise and break the traumatic cycles of relapse that can impact service users’ lives.

Your day-to-day…
- Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
- Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
- Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
- Employ safe working practices & adhere to health & safety procedures
- Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
