Summary

TheGovernance Administratorperforms a vital role that directly contributes to the overall success and safety of our Trust. Working under the direction of the Governance Officer, you will provide pivotal support to the Directorate Governance Team, including the Directorate Head of Nursing and Quality, Matrons, and Governance Lead.

In this role, you will underpin our high standards of patient care by maintaining robust quality and governance processes. Combining core administrative expertise with technical data skills, you will help build digital solutions, track risk, manage incident systems likeInPhase, and translate quality metrics into meaningful reports that drive continuous improvement across the Directorate.

• Leadership Support:Deliver core administrative assistance to the Governance Officer, Governance Lead, Head of Nursing and Quality, and Matrons.

• Data & Analytics:Use technical database skills to transform raw patient safety metrics into clear, visual reporting tools for senior leaders.

• System Oversight:Maintain daily data accuracy within local incident management systems (InPhase) and ensure error corrections are made promptly.

• Governance Tracking:Build and manage administrative tracking processes for meeting actions, risk registers, and regulatory compliance evidence.

• Technical Reporting:Design visual graphs, customized summaries, and simple databases to support ongoing quality improvement programmes.

• Risk & Regulatory Compliance:Maintain up-to-date records on the Directorate Risk Register and organize evidence for Care Quality Commission (CQC) improvement work.

• Incident Management Support:Assist with the administrative workflow for the Patient Safety Incident Review Framework (PSIRF), ensuring learning response outcomes are properly logged and shared.

• Action Tracking:Ensure all decisions and agreed actions from Directorate Governance meetings are accurately recorded, monitored, and brought to resolution.

• Process Improvement:Oversee local administrative systems, proactively identifying areas for workflow improvement and proposing practical solutions.
