Public Health Specialist Practitioner needed in Grays Paying £205.05 per hr ref OR111094

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support public health projects, programmes and initiatives that improve population health and wellbeing.
Undertake Health Needs Assessments (HNAs), contribute to Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs), and use epidemiological data to inform service planning and commissioning.
Analyse and interpret health intelligence, statistics and research evidence to support decision-making and service improvement.
Apply public health principles, health promotion models and evidence-based practice to address health inequalities and the wider determinants of health.
Work collaboratively with NHS organisations, local authorities, community groups and other stakeholders to develop and deliver effective public health interventions.
Support the commissioning, monitoring and evaluation of public health services to ensure quality, effectiveness and value for money.
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and assurance processes across public health programmes.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and national and local public health strategies.
Promote partnership working across health and social care to improve outcomes for diverse communities.
Maintain professional competencies and continuing professional development in line with Public Health Knowledge and Skills Framework (PHSKF) standards.
