- Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs, Teaching, or a related field

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of students with diverse needs

- Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to the changing needs of students

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually expand your knowledge and skills

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs, tailoring your approach to meet their individual requirements

- Assist in the implementation of personalised education plans, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure the delivery of effective and engaging lessons

- Participate in the planning and preparation of learning activities, adapting resources and materials to suit the needs and abilities of students

- Monitor and record the progress of students, providing regular feedback to teachers and contributing to the assessment process

- Promote the inclusion and integration of students with special educational needs within the school community

- Offer emotional support and encouragement to students, helping them to build confidence, independence, and resilience

- Attend training sessions and actively engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
