Summary
The work you will be required to undertake typically involves the following:
1. Harvesting the strawberries across both sites, this is all done by hand.
2. Flower teasing – separating the leaf from the flower to make harvesting easier and more efficient
3. Cleaning of crop, which involves removing of dead/unwanted leaf and or weeds.
4. Cleaning of greenhouse- sweeping and weeding floor.
5. Small amount of participants may be required to work in the packing area- which involves weighing the punnets of strawberries and placing on the processing line, visual inspections of strawberries, labelling and cleaning.
