Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Quality Team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical health needs.

The Role
As the Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality, you'll work closely with operational managers and the Quality Team to provide specialist clinical support across a range of supported living services.
This is a proactive role where you'll help improve clinical practice, support staff development and ensure the people supported receive safe, effective and personalised healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review and maintain person-centred health care plans for individuals with complex health needs.
Provide clinical advice and support to care teams across multiple services.
Build effective relationships with GPs, hospitals, community health teams and other healthcare professionals.
Lead on medication governance, audits, competency assessments and clinical compliance.
Promote best practice in areas including epilepsy management, nutrition, hydration, mobility and overall wellbeing.
Monitor changes in individuals' physical and mental health, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Carry out quality audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Deliver coaching, guidance and clinical training to support staff confidence and competence.
About You
We're looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
You'll ideally have:
Current NMC registration (RNLD, RGN or RMN).
Experience supporting adults with complex physical or learning disability needs.
Strong knowledge of medication management and clinical governance.
Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, compassionate and person-centred approach.
Applications are particularly welcomed from Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs), although experienced RGN and RMN candidates with relevant backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
