About the role

As a Community Care Assistant, you'll support clients across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, helping them remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Your day could include:

Providing personal care

Supporting with medication

Preparing meals

Offering companionship and emotional support

Helping with everyday tasks that enable people to live independently

This is a community-based role, so you'll travel between clients' homes during your shift.

Our innovative Cera Tech platform helps reduce paperwork and provides predictive insights that support better care and help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, giving you more time to focus on what matters most – your clients.

Pay and driving requirements

The advertised rate of pay applies to Care Assistants who hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle for work, with mileage and travel time included in the hourly rate.

Applicants working on walking rotas will receive an adjusted rate of pay.

While having a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, we also welcome applications for our walking rotas where available.
