Looking for a rewarding role with a unique work-life balance?I am looking for a compassionate, reliable female carer to join a small, established team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, long-standing care team in a role where you can make a genuine difference while enjoying an unique shift pattern that leaves most of your week free.I'm a Primary Specialist at a leading edtech organisation and use a wheelchair. I work from home but regularly travel across the UK for work events, conferences and social activities, so no two weeks are ever quite the same.If you're someone who enjoys helping others live independently, I'd love to hear from you.What you'll be doingAs part of my support team, you'll help me maintain my independence by providing assistance with:

• Personal care and overnight turning
• Medication administration
• Basic meal preparation
• Household tasks and light housekeeping
• Accompanying me to work events, conferences and social occasions
• Driving me to appointments and events (desirable but not essential)

Full training will be provided, so previous experience isn't essential if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Working pattern

You'll work a live-in shift from:Thursday 7:00pm – Saturday 1:00pmThis compressed working pattern provides full-time hours over one extended shift, leaving the rest of your week free.Pay and benefits

• £13.50 per hour
• £567 gross per shift
• Weekly pay (one week in arrears)
• Tax, National Insurance and pension contributions managed by me
• Comfortable live-in accommodation while on shift
• Full training provided
• Supportive, experienced team
