Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Bodyshop Manager in York, North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager seeking to lead a busy accident repair centre within a reputable large group. The successful individual will have a proven track record in bodyshop management, strong leadership skills, and technical expertise in vehicle accident repairs.

Duties of a Bodyshop Manager:
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled Bodyshop professionals to ensure high standards of work and productivity
- Plan resources, workflow, and equipment levels in line with budgetary and financial targets
- Regularly review KPI performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage customer complaints promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistent workflow and capacity planning
- Maintain compliance with environmental and safety legislation, including EPA and COSHH standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team development
Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
- Previous experience in a Bodyshop Management role or similar leadership capacity
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Extensive technical knowledge of vehicle accident repair processes
- Ability to manage administration, control systems, and financial resources effectively
- Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design, legislation, and safety standards
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
