We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Barry. Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and electrical issue resolution

- Perform large repairs and component replacements adhering to client standards

- Ensure all work is completed to a high quality standard with first-time accuracy

- Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs

- Support workshop team to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold health and safety standards

Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; applications from time-served technicians will also be considered

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Reside in or near the Barry region or within reasonable commuting distance

- Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with electrical systems

- Committed, reliable, and a team player

- Ability to adhere to high standards of workmanship and customer service
