HGV Trailer Technician Required, in Hull

Our client, one of Europe's leading transportation and logistics solutions providers, is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join their team in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians who are committed to delivering high standards of service and safety.

Duties:

- Conduct detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers, adhering to safety standards

- Complete all compliance documentation accurately and efficiently

- Diagnose and resolve faults using Electronic Braking Systems (EBS) such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE

- Maintain impeccable health and safety standards within the workshop environment

- Participate in regular training and development programmes to enhance technical expertise

- Provide excellent customer service whilst working within tight deadlines

- Follow company policies and uphold core values consistently

Requirements for this HGV Trailer Technician position:

- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

- Practical experience as an HGV Trailer Technician in trailer or tail lift maintenance and repair

- EBS diagnostics experience is desirable, but not essential

- Welding certifications or experience with axle manufacturers are advantageous

- Knowledge of double deck/lifting deck trailer maintenance is a plus

- A full UK driving licence, ideally Class 1, is highly desirable but not essential

- Strong team player with attention to detail, capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

- Motivated and target-oriented attitude
