Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy automotive centre located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

- 42.5-hour working week: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans in accordance with manufacturer specifications

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations

- Assist in diagnostics and fault finding as required

- Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and parts used

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members

- Support the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation

- Maintain the workshop and tools to a high standard of cleanliness and safety as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent

- Practical experience in an automotive workshop environment beyond a qualification preferred

- Good communication skills and team-oriented approach

- Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard
