Summary

This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and training within maternity services, and who is committed to fostering a culture of learning and safety. As part of this role, you will:* Facilitate a supportive environment for learners during clinical placements.* Support and develop practice supervisors and assessors to aid them with practice supervision.* Collaborate closely with partner universities to support students in practice.* Maintain a prominent presence in practice, assisting staff and students with their clinical skills and competencies.* Mentor newly registered midwives throughout their preceptorship period. Support the delivery of the preceptorship programme.* Assist with mandatory training days.* Guide new Band 6 midwives during their local Trust induction.* Assist new staff from diverse recruitment pathways.
