Summary

Working with young people aged 1018 years, many of whom present with complex presentations, including neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma histories and adverse childhood experiences, and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Using your specialist clinical skills, you will: Undertake comprehensive speech, language and communication assessments.Design and deliver evidence-based, individualised intervention programmes.Provide consultation, advice, and training to colleagues to embed communication-inclusive practice across the service.Work collaboratively with families, carers, care and education staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure young people receive coordinated, high-quality care.Contribute to service development and help shape innovative approaches to supporting communication within a secure setting
