Salary: £13.67 per hour 

Hours: Bank 0 hour contract 

Shift Times: As/When needed in the service

Llwyn Teg is a care home in Llanfyllin, Powys, offering 33 residential places with a focus on dementia care. Located in the midst of beautiful countryside near the picturesque market town of Llanfyllin and within easy reach of many local amenities, Llwyn Teg is surrounded by lovely open plan gardens, with a patio, sensory garden and vegetable and herb patch.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan

  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene

  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents

  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion

  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties

  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
