Would you like to join a hardworking, friendly and supportive therapy team, where you can make a significant difference to the lives of women/birthing people, their infants and families? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Pennine Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Team. You will work directly with women and their infants in their homes, at Family Hubs, and occasionally online, providing 1:1 and group interventions. There is an expectation that you can meet the travel requirements of the role, which covers the Pennine area.

You will join an established therapy team which includes Clinical Psychologists, a Systemic Family Practitioner, a Parent Infant Psychotherapist, a CBT therapist and a trainee Clinical Psychologist, when on placement. You’ll be provided with lots of support and weekly supervision. Tasks will include completing psychological assessment and interventions (individual and group) under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, assisting in clinically related administration, conducting audits and collection of statistics related to departmental research projects, training and project work. The post will require liaison and joint working with multidisciplinary colleagues and agencies. The role is busy, varied and interesting.
