The Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, personalised learning experiences while supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social development.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum

- Leading and supporting a team of Teaching Assistants and classroom support staff

- Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary therapy team, including Speech and Language Therapists (SaLT), Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Clinical Psychologists, to support communication, emotional regulation, and independence

- Promoting positive behaviour through consistent, therapeutic approaches, including the safe use of physical intervention where required

- Supporting the wellbeing of both pupils and colleagues across the school community

- Bringing enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude to every aspect of school life

- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

- Attachment needs

- Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS)

- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD & SLD)

- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

- Sensory processing differences
