We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Field Care Supervisor. You will be based out of our welcoming Bishop's Stortford branch, whilst spending the majority of your time out in the community, championing our frontline care teams and service users.

Work Locations
In this role, you will be the operational bridge between our Bishop's Stortford office and the community, ensuring high-quality care is delivered locally across:
North Herts: Including the vibrant neighbourhoods and communities across Stevenage (SG1, SG2).
Central Bedfordshire: Supporting our service users across the welcoming market towns of Biggleswade, Sandy, and the surrounding parishes (SG18 & SG19).
Pay & Benefits
Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.44 per hour
Weekends (Sat & Sun): £15.44 per hour
Mileage Allowance: 25p per mile
Shift Patterns Designed for Real Life
As a Field Care Supervisor, your core focus will be to guarantee the delivery of the highest quality care support services. While your role will entail vital office-based administrative work, you will spend the majority of your working time out in the field. Your supervisory duties will include:
Assessments, Reviews & QA: Carrying out robust initial risk and needs assessments (in homes or hospital/residential settings). Conducting regular care reviews with clients and families, ensuring care plans remain accurate and person-centred. Carrying out care quality audits, gathering client feedback, reporting findings, and following up on action plans.
Team Supervision & Leadership: Providing practical supervision, instruction, and emotional support to frontline Care Assistants. Conducting regular spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments in service users' homes. Acting as a primary point of contact for care staff.
Training & Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding, induction, and ongoing development of new staff. Shadowing new care workers in the field, identifying training needs, and supporting carers with performance improvement.
CQC Compliance & Safeguarding: Monitoring and maintaining CQC compliance, ensuring regulatory standards are met. Supporting the Registered Manager in preparing for CQC inspections and internal audits. Responding to concerns, incidents, and safeguarding matters.
Rota Strategy & Operations: Working collaboratively with Care Coordinators to support the planning of realistic, effective care worker rotas. Participating in the on-call rota as required.
Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Participating actively in multi-disciplinary reviews. Liaising and building positive relationships with service users, families, internal teams, and healthcare professionals.
Documentation & Systems: Ensuring accurate and timely documentation using care management systems. Maintaining up-to-date records, including supervision notes, spot check reports, and compliance documentation.
