Support Worker Job: Abrams Healthcare is actively seeking experienced HealthCare Support Workers. We have an ongoing need for this role. You must have or be willing to have a Live enhanced DBS.
The role involves working in areas such as Care Homes, Learning Disability Units, Supported Living Facilities Nursing Homes, Mental Health Facilities and Private Hospitals
THE APPLICANT:
You must have at least 3 months of paid experience within a UK Care setting and possess the right to work within the UK.
You will possess or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS and be on the Live register. You will possess or acquire the mandatory training required for this job. We offer ongoing Training for our registered candidates.
Job Types: Full-time available on our app. Salary: £12.71-£13 / hour
Typical Care Assistant duties are wide-ranging.
The job revolves around helping clients with their immediate needs, such as dressing and maintaining their hygiene, as well as helping them with basic day-to-day or administrative tasks like paying bills.
The Support Worker role also includes getting to know clients personally and providing them with companionship and emotional support, contributing positively to their well-being. The Support Worker can also extend to helping clients to take part in leisure activities, such as going on day trips.
The duties, therefore, vary substantially from client to client so that no two shifts are the same.
Training Required:
Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention (NAPPI), Medication Management.
