Senior Buyer

We are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Commercial team in Letchworth.

What you’ll be doing:

You will lead end‑to‑end procurement across materials and plant packages, ensuring best‑value and availability to ensure programme certainty and compliance.

Operating within COINS ERP+, the role optimises purchasing processes, strengthens supplier relationships, and drives cost, quality, and sustainability outcomes aligned to project and business objectives.

Skills & knowledge you’ll bring:

Proven experience as a Senior Buyer (or Buyer ready to step up) in residential or mixed‑use development, housebuilding, or construction (SME environment advantageous).

Demonstrable understanding of end‑to‑end procurement processes, category management, and supplier performance management.

Knowledge and experience of competitive tenders, commercial evaluations, and negotiations.

Strong familiarity with COINS ERP+.

Experience reviewing drawings, performing take‑offs, and producing accurate material schedules.

Experience coordinating with All Departments.

 Awareness of sustainability/ESG in procurement.
