Summary
Under the leadership of the Associate Director of Clinical Education, you will use your initiative, analytical skills and judgement to ensure a quality learning environment is maintained. At all times, you will work in accordance with the principles governed by your professional registered body i.e. Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Trust Policies. Contribute to the delivery of educational programmes related to cancer and palliative care in addition to support the education team in evaluating the effectiveness of learning activities and support redesign programmes to meet the organisational needs, using the ACCEND framework as a tool to implement. You will be required to Identify and promote evidence-based simulation and clinical skills within the Trust, through implementation and facilitation of classroom and clinically based teaching/ education, to ensure that all staff groups are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles competently in cancer care. The postholder will undertake audits and assist in the development of professional educational policies, standards, and best practice guidelines, aligned to the ACCEND programme.
