Our client, a leading provider of logistics and freight solutions, is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across North East Scotland.

This is a senior sales role focused on winning new business, developing key accounts and building long-term customer relationships. As such, we are specifically seeking candidates with a proven background in freight forwarding, logistics, transport or supply chain services sales.

The Role

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the region

• Grow revenue within existing customer accounts

• Develop relationships with key decision-makers across multiple sectors

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and implementation

• Work closely with operational teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements

• Maintain a strong pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets

• Provide accurate sales forecasting and CRM updates

About You

• Proven experience in a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or Commercial Manager role within logistics, freight forwarding, transport or supply chain services

• A strong track record of generating new business and growing customer accounts

• Experience selling logistics solutions rather than physical products

• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills

• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify profitable opportunities

• The ability to work independently and manage a regional territory

• A full UK driving licence
